Characteristics
The genera Palhinhaea (P. cernua) and Pseudolycopodiella (P. caroliniana) are commonly segregated from Lycopodiella (Field et al. 2016; Øllgaard & Windisch 2016). Pseudolycopodiella was not recovered as monophyletic by Burnard et al. (2016).
